We are a non-profit organisation.

Period poverty in South Africa causes horrendous social stigma, loss of education, and poor health.

Please help us to eradicate it.

We went back to the Primary School for a pad delivery.

WHY DONATE?

Period poverty should not exist!
It is universally accepted that no woman should face the indignity of having her monthly cycle regarded as something dirty or socially unacceptable.

Yet every month, millions of young women in schools across South Africa are forced to endure a toxic mix of poor health, embarrassment, and societal rejection.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have already helped thousands of girls live happier, healthier lives, free from social stigma. Now, our goal is to help everyone. Join us in achieving our mission.

7,000,000 GIRLS SUFFERING

Anyone who menstruates deserves the right to manage their periods without fear or stigma.

REALITY OF PERIOD POVERTY

Period poverty forces people to use dangerous, unhealthy, and ineffective products.

20% LOSS OF EDUCATION PER ANNUM, PER YOUNG WOMAN

A young woman’s natural monthly cycle should not disrupt her access to education, sport, or work.

STORIES

There are so many questions asked of us by our donors, here are a few examples: why should we donate, why should we help your charity, what are you doing to help yourselves, how does the money donated help your charity. So we asked ourselves the same questions and decided to show you what your monthly donations do to the lives of our recipients. Please take a close look at the following stories and see for yourselves the joy and meaningful difference your donation makes to the lives of so many.
