Breaking The Silence On Period Poverty
A devastating crisis exists in plain sight, where millions of girls lack access to basic female hygiene products like sanitary pads, forcing them to use unsafe alternatives like cardboard, old rags, even leaves and bark.
This injustice robs young girls of their education as they are too ashamed to attend school, often left isolated, vulnerable, and stripped of their female dignity.
Siyakunakekela is on a mission to change this toxic mix of poor health, embarrassment, and societal rejection through education, support, and providing the sanitary products these young girls deserve as basic female necessity.
It’s time to take action and show support for change. We are Siya..
